Ingredients:
For the cake:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pure Vanilla Extract
- tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 cup of Semolina
For the soaking syrup:
- 4 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 tablespoons sugar
Instructions on how to make Milky Cake
- Preheat the oven at 350 F degrees
- Grease a cake pan (20 x 35 cm) and sprinkle flour inside the and keep it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl beat the eggs.
- Add sugar, and vanilla and mix.
- Add flour, Semolina with constantly mixing.
- At the end add baking powder.
- Mix well and pour into the cake pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Set aside
For the Syrup:
- Mix milk, vanilla and sugar and cook until start to bubbling.
- Pour hot syrup over the cooled cake.
- Set aside for few hours.
