Marinated Baked Cauliflower with Herby Yogurt Sauce

This baked cauliflower recipe with yogurt sauce, makes the Best cauliflower ever. It’s Egg-free, and baked in the oven, marinated in yogurt and spices. A delicious side dish with almost every dinner. But this dish would be an appetizer, too.

Marinated Baked Cauliflower with Herby Yogurt Sauce – Recipe

The wway of preparations – easy

Prep time

  • Prep time – 15 minutes
  • Cooking time – 40 minutes

Yields – 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower
  • 1 1/2 cup full-fat greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cumin to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons Salt

Instructions on how to make Marinated Baked Cauliflower

  • Choose a small to medium head
  • Make cuts if possible at the bottom and top of the cauliflower using a knife
  • Blanch it for 10 minutes in boiling, salted water
  • In one deep bowl, mix together Salt, curry powder, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper, Lemon juice, jogurt, and oil
  • Mix well
  • Drain the blanshed head, and put into the marinade sauce for 20 minutes or more
  • Meanwhile, Preheat oven to 400 F
  • Prepare the baking tray and cover it with baking paper OR you can use a casserole dish
  • Transfer the head into the baking tray
  • Spread marinade sauce
  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in well-heated oven
  • Once it’s baked, quarter it
  • Serve with your favorite dish
  • Enjoy
